The King Carter golf course first opened for play in 2005. The course was designed by Joel Weiman.
The course is located within the Hills Quarter subdivision.
This 18 Hole Championship Course plays to a par 71. The course boasts five sets of tees that play from 6,818 yards for the championship tees to 2,099 yards for family tees, which are designed so that every hole can be played as a par three.
The course closed on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
The course had been bank-owned and in receivership since 2010. The course sold in 2018 and was immediately closed.

Fairways had not come in yet but were still easy to hit of off. Greens were in very good condition. A great golf course for the money.

I have played King Carter several times. It is a fun course at a reasonable price. Always good conditions and the staff is excellent.
